Just as bad as Pink Oil (for me) is the green Olive Oil Moisturizer… Not only did it coat my hair, but the excessive oils make me break out… Not a good look.

Now I use Oyin’s Gregg Juice – It moisturizes and smells fantabulous at the same time

Oh so funny because it’s oh so true. After a few hours of the Billy Ocean syndrome, my hair dried into a ashy, stiff helmet. When I shampooed it out, there was no lather with the first attempt. When the going gets tough, do anything but use this Pink wet greasy stuff.

I used to use Vitapointe & it works well, it certainly takes me back! BUT, I just discovered what I think is one of the BEST product lines TO DATE. It’s called Miss Jessie’s. I use the Curly Pudding & Baby Buttercreme. They are INCREDIBLE. I have put a few friends on to these products. You should post something about the product line…they are honestly the best products that I have found to tame hair worn naturally (the Curly Pudding esp.)

Pink oil is a bunch of crap that does nothing to improve your hair overall. I also made the mistake of putting hope into that yellow bottle of Optimum and it reminded me too much of Pink Oil. The best product that I have found to keep my curls moistured is S-Curl. I still look out for other alternatives.

I second that emotion on the Pink Stuff!! Oh yeah… you forgot the black women’s key to that “good hair”"- Ampro Black Gel. Where there’s a Walgreens, there’s some black gel!!

Great website!
Why don’t you give Anita Grant’s hair products a try.
I only use her products because they make my hair sooo very soft.
I use Whipped Butter Lemon Sponge for my twist out days, Vanilla Creamy Cafe Latte to detangle and lock in moisture after I wash my hair then once a month I do a Deep Condish with her cubes.
She has just brought out a shampoo and it is the SHIZZEL!!! My hair just loves it so very much – it cleans my hair & scalp & doesn’t strip my hair at all and leaves it nice and soft.

I must admit tho. the shipping from the UK is expensive but it’s fast and well worth it.
