What can I say?
In the fact that your beauty and presence *speaks* to me via your blog... Never experienced this before in cyberworld:) Additionally, I have seen a few blogs in the past, but your words seem to come from the soul... yep, you have captured the true essence of Afrobellaism(is that a word? lol) *smile*
Anyway, I'm an international sista. Born in the UK. My mother was from the Yoruba people in SE Nigeria and my father was born in the States... so, yeah, you can say that I am a daughter of the diaspora! I am Creative, eccentric, 'thinks out of the box', fashion diva(!), boho, educated, soulmate, wife, lover, mother and friend... Phew!
I love to see the coming together of sistas all over the diaspora, Africa and beyond. We may have different accents and cultural mores, but our struggles are still the same.
It's so great to see the diversity, strength and positive vibes that truly raise from the words that I have read so far on this site. Kinda reminds me of my favourite poem of all time, Maya Angelou's 'And Still I Raise'. Yep, I'm now a bonified Afrobellaist(lol!)
I have marked this site as a favourite. I will also be sending other sistafriends to this site, so that they can too be part of the community and read your positive and inspiring words.
Much peace and blessings from a daughter of the diaspora.

Your blog is one of my favorites. I especially enjoy reading about beautifully aging bellas (getting close to 50 myself). And that quote from the Nordic reader is right - there's plenty here for us caucasian ladies to enjoy!
Keep it up - reading your blog always puts a smile on my face.
From a fellow Floridian, who found your site while surfing beauty and fragrance blogs.

Congratulations Afrobella! I came across your site from StealStyle blog, and I'm glad I did. I'm from Chicago,IL and going on 2 years natural in November :) My quest is for hair products that will give my very dry hair moisture, sheen, and life. I'm also interested in trying to elongate my kinks or loosen them without using a texturizer.

This is so exciting for you! Personally, I love your posts about Carol's Daughter goodies, even though (1) your site and (2) the brand, are both "sistacentric." My hair is dry as a bone from years of (BLEACH) highlights and I am obsessed with the Black Vanilla Leave-in and the Tui Hair Oil. Keep it up my dear!

Congratulations, girl! You're reaching people of all walks of life which is a truly beautiful thing. Keep sharing your thoughts and opinions because it means a lot to people (even those that DON'T comment!).

Take care...I'm sending lots of white light your way!

Yaaaaaaaaaay, Afrobella is international.

I love connecting w/people from all walks of life. I like to hear another's thoughts and opinions, especially if its different from my way of thinking.

You inspire me to start my own blog-but i don't believe I'll have enough time-why does everything boil down to time?
And the name speaks for it self.
