You could try the healthy hair butter which is very affordable and good from the reviews I read. Miss Jessies has a buy one get one free in December so make sure you get the baby buttercreme - try a sample to make sure it is for you.

For the mom with natural girls - Yay! I would suggest a leave-in conditioner, wide tooth comb and a great moisturizer. I love the baby butter creme applied on damp hair.

You could do some nice twist styles and accent with hair accessories of your choice. The little one can wear twists with hair bow or clips and your other daughter could wear a nice puff with braid accents in the front to keep age appropriate.

Oops I meant "hair care" line. My co-workers often comment on Hair products that small awful. I will probably continue to mix up my own and add essential oils for fragrance.

http://www.discoverb4a.com/
Was thinking of trying Carol's daughter for my natural hair but wanted to do some research first. For years I have been using my mom's old recipes: coconut oil, jojoba, rosemary and sage. I mixed it myself and each time it comes out a little different. To save time I decided to just spring for one of Carol's daughter product.
Then I came across the above website. Are you familiar with their hare care line?

Hello, I've tried Carol's Daughter Almond Cookie and loved it!!! The one thing that I noticed was that it did not irritate my skin at all considering the fact that I have a small case of eczema. If I could afford to buy her products I will but as of now I cannot. I would like some advice on my girls hair. My daughters have natural hair and the status of their hair is dry, kinky, and short. I am not going for the chemicals!! If I wash their hair I have to style it wet because if I let it dry I would have to rewet it for the fact that it could not at all put a comb through it, thats how tough it is. What products will make it more manageable, grow longer, and styles that are acceptable for their ages (7 and 11) and also by their peers (self esteem issue) of course.

I was just in Sephora and nearly puked smelling the Khoret Amen products. The Tui products, on the other hand, smell DIVINE. As does the Rosemary Mint Shampoo and the Black Vanilla leave in conditioner....but what all should know is that most of the products are easy to make at home. The main ingredient appears to be corn oil....add your own lavendar and yummies and VOILA!!!! natural homemade beauty.
