Thanks for your kind words, bellas! I was nervous. I’ve done so many interviews, but this was my first time officially being interviewed! And apparently the first of more to come, as I have been contacted by another fantastic online publication. I’ll let you know when that one is up!

Brunsli, I might have to take you up on those chocolates! I wore The Bella all weekend and will be writing more about it soon!

Anita — good question. I plan on creating some kind of musical element, and as was evident in my attempt to embed a music player in my Alice Smith post, it ain’t working with Word Press. People advised me to try all of these awesome flash players, but I can’t figure it out with WordPress yet. When I do, watch out! I’m slowly making a playlist, so there will be music for sure.

I also had a fantastic interview recently that I WISH I could have put online, but alas, the recorder didn’t work that way and I wound up having to delete it for work purposes. But I will just say three words — Josephine Baker’s son! He’s hilarious and raunchy, and has a divine French accent. I will write about the experience instead, so look out for that by the end of the week.

My boyfriend and I was listening to you interview and my mom walked into the room and asked if it was me talking. I told her no three times and she insisted that we sound alike. I am from Trinidad too and I have been living in the states for a while now…i just thought it was funny. Anyways great interview!! Yes you do need some T-Shirts!!

You have a great blog and hearing you talk about your inspiration and motivation makes me love it even more. I might not be an “afrobella” myself, but I have pretty wild hair that takes a lot to tame and I love the fact that you promote going natural. It’s a great thing to see another point of view on beauty in the blogosphere.
