Personally I love Kelis’ style and hair. I actually have my hair cut the same way right now (minus the color). Her style is so original. She is a trend setter. Keep doing your thing ma.

I’m definitely mad at the color of her hair but I can’t blame her for experimenting…reinvention is the nature of the industry. She does need to go back to the afro, though, because nobody rocked it harder than she did!

Revealing one of my big prejudices here….LOL!!

I am definitely prejudice against people who dye their hair lighter than their skin color. That holds true for the white women who get the dark tan and the platinum blonde hair, and for the black women doing the blonde hair.

Somebody needs to talk to Beyonce because she’s headed in that direction and while we’re at it Pam Anderson, Wendy Williams, the list goes on an on.

I too can’t believe that I’ve never seen, or even heard of, this video! She looks so hot! I wish my hair could do that… I probably could try, but I’m pretty sure that it would end up frizzy and sloppy by the 2nd day.

We all know Kelis loves to switch her style up. The hair will be gone in a few weeks, just watch.

OMG!!!! So glad you hit this subject! I LOVE HER SO MUCH! I admire her funk! I too was very upset when she cut her hair but it grew on me. I think it’s time for her to let it grow back and get rid of that BLONDE! NATURAL RULES!! (sorry to be corny) LOL!!

I mean blonde is so tired and hair is so temporary for the most part, we know this too shall pass. …I am not my hair but she never mentioned blonde, Mz Eva even went more bronzy blonde. My baby bro is still cryin’ over the masscare of the curls refusing to listen to I’m Bossy for eternity. She will come back and be once again Fierce LaRue..meanwhile leela james…is giving it up for big hair…what color is she doing today?
