I went out and bought the lip gloss today at Walmart. It was like 5.50 or something (cheaper than Ulta). It’s not the best lip gloss I’ve ever had, but the light and mirror totally make up for it. I’ve been using it as a handy dandy purse light too! Your site is great, good job! I was wondering, could you do a post about cosmetic mainteniance? I bought an eye liner crayon, and I have no idea how to sharpen it. And someone told me I could wash my make up brushes instead of throwing them out, but with what? Dish soap? Just a thought, well a question I guess. :) . Stay blessed and fab!

I absolutely adore light beam! I have it in 2 colors (In the Mix and After Hours). A girlfriend brought it to me about a month and a half ago and I haven’t put it down since. Oh, and you’re ABSOLUTELY right about women rhapsodizing over it! I pulled it out at the club one night last week and all the girls in my immediate vicinity flocked! I could practically see the joy glinting in their eyes!

Oh,and another reader reccomended juicy tubes by lancome, they were right! It is a divine lip gloss. Origins has some great ones, and as much as other people complain about them…I’m a MAC Lipglass junkie at heart.

(I’m lighter skinned and have the regular one that you tried.) I like it enough, and I use it, but I won’t purchase again. I feel like it looks great, but like you mentioned it is subtle, so subtle that frankly I can’t tell within the hour whether or not I have any effect from the blush. For $26, I’ll pass the next time. Shame, too since I loved the idea of it.
