1969, girl -- you hit the nail on the head! I have been looking for videos to go with a Mighty Sparrow post and I haven't been able to find THE video. Same for Calypso Rose. It's heartbreaking. And I already wrote about Machel and Kitch... those are the only two artists I could think of to pay homage to who actually HAD videos online. And don't talk about West Indian Tube, all they seem to have is videos of women wining. I wish the Ministry of Information would get on the ball and digitize some of our calypso classics.

Greetings in the name of HIS Imperial Majesty, Jah Rastafari! Afrobella, whenever you share the foundations rhythms you hardly ever get any feedback. Well I am here to tell you that these kinds of messages are appreciated. Joseph Hill was one of Jah's chosen people and I was honored to see him perform live on many an occasion. His music will never die. Thank you for shinning a light in the heart of Babylon.
