It’s a very common myth that spicy food will destroy your mucosal lining. But it really is just a myth. Now, if you have a stomach ulcer, spicy foods will certainly aggravate it (which may feel like a burning sensation). Also, if you are sensitive to spicy foods, it may increase your stomachs natural acid production and cause things like heartburn. But no, spicy food itself will not damage you in any way.

Great post. I’ve read the book Evolution of a Revolutionary cover to cover a couple of times and I’m definitely impressed with Afeni’s soul – her courage – her dedication to the struggle. She has a great story to tell, it’s no wonder she raised such an awesome son.

I’m impressed with how you keep bringing us an Afrobella of the week. It must be getting at least a little more challenging.

The last movie I watched was actually Notorious BIG: Bigger Than Life. I thought it was pretty interesting. Needed more footage of live performances though.
