Heard you last night and you did an excellent job. I didn’t catch it until the segment was about halfway over, but I think you were very well spoken and you have the cutest radio voice.
BTW, I think you should be proud of your long name- it makes you stand out.

I was so nervous I couldn’t eat breakfast or lunch before heading to the studio… gotta get over my fear of public speaking… but I feel pretty good about the roundtable. Glad to meet some fellow bloggers, and speak about issues that I knew a little about.

Ceecee – wasn’t trying to hate on “the blackstresses” as Farai referred to them, LOL – but I do think that they’re going about their case in the wrong way. Gabrielle Union made mention of Perez Hilton – which I am guilty of reading — but let’s be real, that’s probably the meanest gossip blog I can think of. Bossip, Sandra Rose, Media Takeout, C+D, A Hot Mess, and Concrete Loop all will make fun of a celebrity’s appearance (some more than others), but I’ve never seen an urban gossip blog go after someone’s kids and call them ugly or worse. So I think if these actresses want to just dismiss bloggers as haters or unhappy women with nothing better to talk about, they need to rethink their strategy. Spin the story and work with a publicist to enhance their image. do some much needed charity work. Attend the kinds of events that will result in more positive press. I oughta be in PR by now, look at me making suggestions…
