But I am glad they caught it before it turned into pneumonia and before you stepped off a plane in chilly Chicago. The Windy City might have really put you under.

I had pneumonia before when i lived near the arctic circle (Michigan). So I have to agree with Mrs. McKinzie comments above, a lot of times we get sick when we try to do too much despite warning signs. It’s our bodies way of saying, “Forget you, I’m tired”. I promised myself I would never work so hard in December that I would start the new year knocked out. No fun.

So here’s to settling in with lots of blankets, tissues, cough drops, soup and Lifetime movies. Don’t even think about work, it will all be there when you get better.
