I like Dr. Miracle's products. I made the mistake a few years back of grabbing the wrong thing in the shower - thought it was my regular shampoo, but it turned out to be NAIR (you can't wear your glasses in the shower), and as a result washed all my hair down the drain. I was frantic. I did get used to being bald, but I wanted my hair to grow back quicker, so I tried Dr. Miracles products, and they worked! Loved the tingle, love the smell...which, as none of you non-smokers have probably figured out, is CLOVES. It smells like good incense, and has a healing property in most instances if used properly (consult your herbology/homeopathic sources). My hair grew three inches in two months, and it was awesome! But by this time I had become accustomed to the short hair (soooo sensual in the shower), so about every three months or so I buzz the whole thing off again and start over. I use Dr. Miracles every time because it keeps my hair strong.

On the package of DM, it does say not to use the relaxer if yoiur previous relaxer had a specific type of ingredient. I made the same mistake but I don't have bald spots.

I'm a fully African belle (Ghanaian to be precise) and i've been using the entire range of Dr. Miracle products for over two years now for my permed hair. The results have been amazing! I've never had any issues with it except getting burns on my scalp after relaxing my hair but even with that, i only get burns when i scratch my scalp before relaxing or i relax my hair immediately after taking out a weave or braids. The product has helped my hair grow really long (about seven inches past my shoulders) and trust me, for a ghanaian chic, that is long! With a few exceptions, our hair generally doesn't grow long or fast and people wear weaves and extensions around here all the time but thanks to Dr. Miracle, people can't tell the difference between my hair and a weave or a wig cos they don't think it can grow that long! I love the products and i love my hair more, but i'm also getting scared from reading all your posts. I'm scared of some future damage it may cause to my hair. I haven't had any trouble with it so far but i would like to know if there are any recommendations of other haircare products that are suitable for african hair since it looks like this product is doing more harm than good. I would cringe to have my hair jump off my head in the future if it has to endure some unknown future negative effects of using Dr. Miracle products. Please help!

Well I"m gonna be trithful and as truthful as i can be. I actually tried the perm because i have a friend in Christ that's using it and she still is. i personal don't think the perm is for everyone, i did try the perm 4 times, Thinking it would help my hair strengthen my hair was growing really good and thick, i put the Dr.Miracle thinking it was going to grow it more. But i was very disappointed when my hair started breaking off badly my hair is now short, i did buy all the products to go with the perm thinking i wasn't using it correctly. i also thought it was stress............ but i just kept trying the perm it just keeps breaking off and still breaking so now I'm trying to let it grow out so i can start using the perm i was using before sorry Dr. it's not for me

I am in the beginning of starting my 'natural hair journey'. I'm NOT ready for the night chop yet so I decided to let the remainder of my perms hair grow out so that when I do get it cut I have good lenght to start with. Its been about 6 months now and I've been using Dr.miracles leave in conditions. And the hot gro and it has been working great my hair has grown about 8 inches in the back and 6-7in the front..... I actually like the scent and would recommend it to anyone who asked what I use .... yo all the flack about the relaxers perms are damaging to your hair regardless the brand perm force your hair yo things it's not meant to do if if it came out with FM that's what u get I dont feel bad for any of u

i am glad to have found the ingredients for this product so that i can research everyone. I've only bought the product once and i am just finishing it because i don't use it on a regular basis because it makes me hallucinate, which is the only way i can describe it which is why i have been concerned about the ingredients an why they are not listed on the product. thanks again for listing them
