Hey JL - I personally wouldn't brush my hair when it's dry, I'd use the Denman as a detangler in the shower. Lots of conditioner, and careful brushing should get those knots out, I'd imagine. I'm gonna get me one today so I can let you know how it works. Hang tight!

Hello everyone! I’ve been lurking for a few months and I love this site. It has been a great source of information. My apologies for getting off topic but I have a question regarding the May 5th topic and was wondering if I could get some advice.

I’ve been hearing great things about the Denman brush. However I have always been under the impression that brushing my hair(naturally kinky, frizzy, and coarse)would cause more harm than good such as breakage. Can my texture handle being brushed? I’ve been natural for a little over two years and with the length, it tangles very easily. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

I am so glad you guys are feeling him! It's a rare and beautiful sight to see a strong, proud black family playing rock music together. And winning over audiences of all ages and ethnicities.

AJ -- Clapton was good. Very polished, and we'd seen him a year or two ago so it was kind of similar. But the encore rocked -- he closed it out with Layla, Cocaine, and I Got My Mojo Working. I think playing with Robert Randolph gave him more verve than he'd displayed for most of the night, to be honest.
