Edesse, I think you've inherited what your other suicidal relatives had, weak-mindedness, especially when it comes to peeping game from crazy White people. You the one that needs to stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Or stop looking at Fox News or whatever the hell it is you're doing to come on here with these half-assed posts.

What do you mean if you're not for Obama, you're labeled as a racist?! No, silly girl, the only people we've called that is the people HRC was so happy to point out wouldn't vote for a Black man. That is racist!!!! It is what it is. And you got the NERVE to be disgusted? By what?! You oughta be disgusted that folks would rather blindly vote for HRC soley because she's not Black. If Obama was White, he'd be king of the world right now, but since he's Black, he's had to be EXTRA, just to stay on point, & you still got these hillbillies in W. VA & KY saying they won't vote for him, no matter what, based on race! Be "disgusted" by that. That's the stuff that oughta be leaving a "bad taste" in your mouth.

I mean, do you read what you write?! It doesn't make any sense. How has racism been turned into a joke?! What the hell are you talking about?! Trust, I'm not laughing, I don't who the hell is. I don't see anything funny about the insidious race-baiting that has gone on in this campaign.

And what? You're fighting to hold on to everything you believe in?! And what is that exactly? You talk about blatant bias, any Black person with eyes & ears should be well familiar with which side most of the bias has fallen on & who has had the highest price to pay based on bias. And it wouldn't be Hilary. Two words for you..Jeremiah Wright...and you wanna talk about blatant bias?!

I notice that now, you don't believe in ANY of the candidates?! What happened?! Before, HRC was your girl, right? Isn't that what you've posted in the past?! LOL...She reminded you of yourself in grad school, remember?. You could "relate" to her. She was a "fighter". You make me laugh so hard. For real.

Obama does talk about the change coming from within all of us. We're the change, Edesse, that's his main message, so what are you talking about?! Do you listen?! Perhaps you have dyslexia when it comes to processing information...

The more you talk, I swear, I just think you're someone trying to stir stuff up. Your whole post was a bunch of nonsense. I dare you explain what the hell you're talking about. Go ahead, expound on any of it.

Cause, personally, I ain't drinking no Kool-Aid, I know when I'm naked, I know when I'm clothed. And I can peep game from a mile away, my "decipering" abilities are intact and this is far from a case of the Emperor & His New Clothes...That's a ridiculous comparison.

I don't even know why I'm bothering writing this, it's over a week later anyway. But you've confirmed what I first thought of you from your post a while back. You're just not up on it. Please read some, look at the news, Internet, whatever. Valid credible information is just a click away. Then you can arm yourself with some actual facts before you come back on here poppin off with drama about slowly softly dying & not knowing...WTF?!

Could be cool, but wonder how Obama will avoid at least asking H. Clinton to be VP after her relative success throughout the campaign. It will be very, very hard for him to go with Edwards without looking sexist (ie, if H. Clinton was in first place and she went with Edwards over an Obama in second, how would that look?).

outraged:

I'm outraged that you don't understand the idea of metaphor. I, in no way, am comparing Barack Obama to Jim Jones, rather Jim Jones to the state of america today. My comment highlights your response--Illogical is the new logic.

I agree with the above posters who say that I am operating more from emotion. Your are right, I am. I can't help it.

I also agree with those that believe that obama is the lesser of three evils--he will get my vote because of that, but he won't get my passion. I can't give him that just yet.

Cosmic: I don't feel that you are starting a cyber argument at all. I appreciate your logical response to my post. We live to agree, we live to disagree, and through it all, we can live in peace. I appreciate that about your response.

Auragirl: I agree with your post you speak to why I feel Obama is the best of the three, but for me, not by much.

I just want to add that it is so easy to become disillusioned...what is harder and infinitely more productive is to look for the good in the situation and make the most out of it. So you don't like any of the candidates...ideally the people we feel should lead this country are never the people who actually do. But the thing is, we do have 3 candidates who have decided to take on the job and out of all of them you, as a responsible citizen, need to try to remove the stench of disappointment and disgust out of the way by hold your nose looking at the issues and casting a ballot. I love Barack, NOW, but I was orginally a John Edwards girl. I have not jumped on a bandwagon and still have my eyes trained on Obama's weaknesses, but I cannot deny that the man has the potential to be a great leader. Whether you agree or not, whichever you preference (and I use that word loosely for some) please don't abstain from making a CONSCIOUS vote in November!

I too wish Edwards would have endorsed sooner...like before Super Tuesday on Feburary 5th, or even before the OH/TX primaries on March 4th, but better late than never. I'm not keen on Edwards as VP, because the Democrats have already been there and done that. I'm sure there could be a more fitting role for him in Obama's administration. Personally, my favorite candidates for VP are: Sen. Chuck Hagel, Sen. Jim Webb, Former Senator Sam Nunn and Ohio Governor Ted Strickland. He needs an experienced white male and all four of those men would add a lot to the ticket.

@ edessedesigns:

It's interesting you mentioned that people seem to think that change will come from another person. Obama always talks about how change happens from the bottom up--it starts at the grassroots level. His campaigng has been a perfect indication of that. Look at the money he has raised from so many donors! Unbelievable! He also says that "we are the ones we've been waiting for" meaning that we shouldn't be waiting for some magical person to change how goverment works, but if we start paying attention and actively participating then change can occur.
