HI,I HAVE READ ALL YOUR MESSAGE.I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DIFFERENT DEODORANTS.IF I WEAR,DEODORANT WITH FRAG,I SMELL BAD ,UNERARM PIT.I USE DEODORANT,WITH NO FRAG.NOW BEFORE,I BATH,I TAKE A LIME AND BAKING SODA,AND RUB IT UNDER MY ARM PITS.AND THEN I LET,IT STAY ON FOR ABOUT 10MIN AND TAKE MY BATH.ALSO,I PUT APPLE CINDER VING IN MY BATH WATER.IT SEEM TO WORK.ALSO TRY TO EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGGIE AND DRINK MORE WATER.THANKS,I HOPE THIS WORK FOR YOU.

My mom made me use the crystal deodorant in high school. It didnt work and I would be laughed at by other kids for smelling “musty” I used to sneak and buy real deodorant from the store and keep it in my locker. I sweat a lot and I havent found a natural deodorant or antiperspirant that will work for me. Now that I am grown, I say screw the hazards. There are so many things we do that are killing us, deodorant is the least of my worries!

I’ve been using Degree and can’t seem to stop ) I used to use dove but I can’t seem to find the one that cleared up your pits. I have REALLY dark pits. How can I fix this??? Anyone?

Thanks Bella and readers for all of the tips.
I truly can’t go without deodorant or antiperspirant because I’ll smell like a truck drive and sweat like one too.
I’ll have to try a few of your tips, on the weekend of course

Bella, perhaps you can prepare a post about the irritating factors of shaving your underarms. I have heard that the razor can lead to dark spots and should be avoided. But then, what should we use?

Word of warning about the crystals. They definitely kill the smell, but if you sweat often the mineral salt can bleach your clothes in the pit area, particularly if there’s a lot of cloth contact (think baby-t’s and the like). Still, I use the crystal with loose clothing haul out the antiperspirant on certain occasions.

The only natural deodorant that worked for me is Dr. Hauschka (floral scent). It’s a little pricey, but it gets the job done without the harsh chemicals. Second best, I’d say, Tom’s of Maine. I’m definitely going to try this one to see how it holds up. Thanks for the tip!
