My grandma lives right off Western Main Road in St. James! And there is a to-die-for roti shop not too far from Smokey & Bunty but I can’t remember the name of the place, but damn that roti was GOOD!

I just came back from Trinidad and Tobago in March(the week after carnival)! Me and my cousin (she’s from T&T) stayed in Tobago for 4 days hit up every single spot that you mentioned! Then on the weekend we went back to Trinidad and partied! I really really enjoyed it but Tobago has my heart!! Def would go back soon!

well alright trini gyal! I love when people are extremely proud of where they come from.

I have only been to DR and Jamaica but would love to travel all over the islands. My bf is from Barbados, so I hope I will be visiting and wandering around the neighboring countries soon!

Great info for visiting beautiful Trinidad the fish sandwich looks so good. For the cold coconut water there is a vendor here in Chicago during spring and summer she is usually on the corner of California and Fullerton in Humboldt Park. During the Puerto Rican Parade Jun 20, 2009 and just in general at the actual Humboldt Park in the summer.
