Boots makeup primer (Target,under $10) and Monistat’s Anti-Chafing Gel(sounds weird but check the ingredient list) for around $5 are excellent alternatives to the more expensive all-over primers. For eyes, I’ve used a dab of the HIP cream paints in a neutral color like Commanding as a base. Alternatively, I’ve heard that Carmindy’s Sally Hansen Eye Primer is good also and both are under $10. These help me look fresh in the Chicago humidity.

I love Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes and Lights, Camera, Splashes. Both mascaras withstand the heat for me!

Love this post bella. I’m gonna have to invest in something as my Mac primer is almost gone … not sure what but I think I’ll try something different. I find that it really does make a difference to the final makeup effect.
