so exciting!! Definitely Don't Let Go and Free Your Mind are my absolute faves. Grew up on that stuff. Between this and Corinne Bailey Rae making a comeback, 2010 is looking like a great year for music! I have a request, though: PLEASE no electropop/house/techno, and absolutely no autotune. Both of these things encourage bad songwriting and bad singing. Sing like the divas you are!

I saw these ladies earlier this year. Although it was a ticketed event, it was standing room only. I got on line an hour before the doors opened and the line was down the block. About another hour standing in heels before the show started. Then a 90 minutes show still standing in heels and getting shoved in the head by some silly males thinking these fabulous divas were singing to them!

It was all worth it! If they come to your city, go show En Vogue some love ;)

Don't let go. Everytime I hear that song I think about the love scene from "Set it off" with Stoney & Keith (Jada Pinkett-Smith and Blair Underwood).

En Vogue, you are so lucky!!! Cindy Herron was my idol when I was little, OMG!! Me and my friends used to dress up (well, to the best of our ability LOL)and do the routines from "Hold On' and "Never Gonna Get It", ahhh memories. It's hard to pick a favorite, right now my top two are "Don't Go" and "Don't Let Go (Love)"

I had discovered En Vogue a few years ago and fell in love with "Don't Let Go". That's one of my favorite songs from the group, because I feel like it just holds so much strong emotion and I can relate to everything they sing about. I also love the harmonies and melodies within the vocal arrangement of the song. Those girls can sing! Just listening to it makes me wanna close my eyes and pretend my voice is just as awesome as thiers.

favorite line- "Hold me tight and don't let go,donnt let go, You have the right to lose control."

How exciting! I really feel like EnVogue has been underrated. I've been listening to Born to Sing on and off since last fall. Their voices are beautiful together. Their songs are classic. The Born to Sing album cover was classic. Part of Me is my absolute favorite EnVogue song.

When I first saw Sparkle a few years ago, I realized EnVogue had one or two actors from the movie in the Giving Him Something He Can Feel video. I remember practicing the moves from the video (I'm not a dancer, but I could pretend to take a glove off and fan it with the best of them.) I'm about to set my ipod alarm to Born to Sing.

I bought long gloves just so I could sing "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" around the house. Love that song, and lucky you, Afrobella, to meet these gorgeous and talented women!
