Me and mines celebrated on the Friday since he had to work the day of. We did the sushi thing, and its so fun cause we’re new to it and we’re a little messy, but its those moments when you turn to your man with a little white sauce in his beard and say ‘yep, this is my person’

I did cook him some curry shrimp for after work on V-day though. But on another note I am loving that Panini Press!

My so and I also did #6. He cooked dinner (homemade calamari, short ribs and mashed sweet potatoes) and I did dessert (pumpkin bread pudding with caramel sauce). It was absolutely delicious. We’re more into celebrating each other every day of the year than saving it up for some Hallmark holiday!

My honey and I opted for a nice dinner out … but I also baked (chocolate) molten lava cakes and cooked chicken scampi. It was a nice quiet weekend with less of the hoopla and more of good ‘ole enjoying the other!

Sweet post, Afrobella, with great ideas. My hubby and I will be doing #6. In anticipation of the 14th, I spent the whole evening Friday making chocolate truffles from scratch, and all of today making chocolate cupcakes and icing from scratch! And tomorrow for the big day I’ll make some croque monsieur sandwiches to munch on so we’re not only eating heaps of chocolate ;O) A labor of love, pun intended =)

But I have to admit, a combination of #1 – #5 would be quite ideal too, lol.
