I loved this interview and have been a fan of Chrisette Micheles for over 6 years. I remember when she was doing free concerts in St. Louis. I really admire her talent. She def looks AWESOME with her super short hair. I have alwasy felt that long hair has that “hollywood fab woman” look, but short hair (relaxed or natural) is SUPER SEXY. Because short hair smacks of unbelieveable confidence. I love it! Afrobella, you do so much for your readers already…I am wondering if you would consider sharing a lil info sometime on trendy haircuts…for natural women only….Been natural for 3 years. Have a huge head full of curls and am so over the same ol fro look. I want to cut it!! I now want bold creative hair cut ideas for natural women BESIDES the most obvous sexy shaved head…Pls help it you’re able. My Spring Makeover depends on a fab natural haircut. Thank you.

I loved her album, like I would listen to it for hours and just cry about whatever. It came at a hard time for me. I love the fact that she’s not afraid to be herself. She’s definitely an inspiration and is not apart of groupthink!

I do not like the fact that naturals look down on women with perms. btw you are not completely natural if you dye your hair =\

Enjoyed the interview.

After hearing Jay Z’s song Lost Ones, I kept thinking to myself how beautiful the woman’s voice is on the chorus. And that is my first experience hearing the mesmerizing vocals of Chrisette Michele.

She still looks beautiful as ever.
