But, you know what? I think I’m more of a Latisse Bella. The Latisse worked almost IMMEDIATELY for me; I didn’t have to wait long at ALL to see its effect on my lashes! And I loved that its effects were noticed by friends and family, as my longer, more noticeable lashes nearly touched my brow bone when I mascara-ed ‘em up! It’s effects lasted even when I took off my makeup, which made my eyes look extra pretty when bare-faced.

I had no real side effects ultimately (intially I used too much and practically in my eyes and it caused slight itchy irritation; I learned to, oh, read the instructions before applying). But, it worked so well for me, I’m seriously considering whether to take the plunge (either $125 or $150 per microscopic container) and make this one of my long-term beauty investments.

A tip for Bellas who are tempted to try Latisse? Squeeze one droplet into the cap, dip the brushes (supplied) into the cap, and then brush the product onto your lash line. Don’t try to drop the Latisse onto the brush (as instructed); less coordinated Bellas will miss and waste precious product that way.

Also, others have suggested that you invest in the tiniest,skinniest brush and toss the ones provided. I didn’t do this; I used the brushes provided (though I didn’t use a new one each time).

Finally: if you stop using Latisse? Your lashes WILL return to their pre-Latisse look, FYI. That’s not the worst thing in the world. But, perhaps if that’s going to happen, there’s no good reason to spend so much money on Latisse, yes?
