I have never had mashed sweet potatoes – is it what we know as a sweet potatoe? Here in Trinidad we would eat it bolied and sliced with calaloo, stewed chicken or beef and other provisions aka “blue food” or made into a savoury shepherd’s pie with minced meat – maybe we can try this sometime.

Sounds good, but no thanks. My family’s narrowed it down so the only sweet potatoes we have will be in some pies! lol. Hope everybody enjoys their holiday.
