So cute! I love the way that it looks like a bow at the top. I met her at the hair show on Sunday and got a quick tutorial from her.. Glad to see her featured on your site. I definitely have to try this!

Hi Alisha,

- The fabric is a piece of black cloth, straight from the fabric store… not hemmed or anything. It’s made of cotton with a little bit of stretch to it. Note, when I sometimes try this style with a silk scarf, it requires more effort b/c the silk tends to slip and slide. A basic slip-free cotton is easier to handle

- My afropuff underneath helps to fill out the scarf (I don’t pull it tight), so it gives the cloth something to wrap around/ hold onto

Couple of questions: what kind of fabric are you using and how do you get the scarf to stay around your head without falling off? Every time I do it, the scarf ends up not wrapped around my head securely like yours is.
Even when I try to tie it in the middle of my head (using less hair) it wont stay.
