Argan oil is great and provides deep penetrating hydration. A wonderful way to use it is as a hot oil treatment immediately after your wash-out conditioning. Massage and penetrate the heated oil in the scalp and move from root to end. Place a cap over your hair for about 10 minutes, do a gentle comb through (not much because you will comb through during your leave-in conditioning treatment) and rinse. At this point, you will only need a moderate amount of leave-in (remember…we don’t want build-up) and enjoy a natural healthy luster. I usually do natural twist-outs, but I silked my hair out yesterday evening to do a much needed trim. When the flat iron silks the hair, you should witness a beautiful sheen without adding additional product. If this is the end result, your hair is retaining the necessary moisture during your regimen. You should not have to add additional moisture for several days (this may vary during winter months) and protect that hair from any wind chill with a silk scarf! Happy Healthy Hair Journey! =)
