Donna Summer was a favorite of mine too. She was the height of glamor and such a talented beauty. I loved that she always believed in herself and had willing people to help support her vision of stardom. I miss her and I’m sorry she passed away as such a young age. Now, she is singing with the angels.

Donna Summer’s music was part of my growing up and I have great memories of doing fun things while dancing or singing along to her songs.

RIP Donna.

This hasn’t sunk in yet. I’m a child of the 70′s too and Donna Summer’s music was a big part of that. It’s like losing a favourite auntie.

Thank you for writing this great post. Donna is one of my favorite singers and a very inspiring woman. I have always loved her music, but truly developed a deep respect for her after reading her autobiography “Ordinary Girl.” She will truly be missed.
