Big Beauty Moments –Ready for Homecoming with COVERGIRL + Olay Simply Ageless

For some of us, every day is a Big Beauty Moment. For others – like myself – the days for full-out glam are irregular occasions. I’m at a juncture of life where I need to let my skin breathe. Most of my days at home are spent makeup-free (but slathered in skincare). When I have a special occasion, I’m careful to use makeup that will mattify my situation but won’t clog my pores.

I want my foundation to look flawless and barely there. I want it to feel light, never heavy. I want to know that my makeup will last despite the elements, and stay on even if I sweat. So I have a Big Beauty Moment coming up soon — I’ve been asked to return to my alma mater for homecoming! I’ll be speaking to the students about my experience and my career. It will be a very special This Is Your Life kind of full circle moment, going back to where it all began for me and seeing old friends, former classmates and coworkers. I’m sure I’ll be in my feelings before, during and after this experience! For obvious reasons, I want to make sure I look my best. So I plan to use COVERGIRL + Olay’s Simply Ageless line to enhance my beauty for the big event. Let me tell you why and break down my faves!

COVERGIRL + OLAY Simply Ageless Anti-Aging Foundation Primer is my go-to for whenever I need a light, hydrating primer to help my makeup last, and prevent it from creasing. It doesn’t clog my pores and helps to create a canvas for a more ageless finish.  It helps me now with the appearance of my enlarged pores, and it’ll help me to fill in fine lines and wrinkles (not that I have them yet, give me time). I’m thinking it will help my makeup to last under the hot lights during my big night. The less sweaty I’ll be, the better.

I’m a big fan of the COVERGIRL + OLAY Simply Ageless Wrinkle Defying Foundation for several reasons. First of all, SPF 22. That swirl in the middle is a silky, serum-like SPF sunscreen (and like with any sunscreen, you should use as directed and reapply). It makes for a foundation that is so light and blendable! The shades look light on the internet, but Classic Tan blends perfectly into my skin. There’s a liquid foundation, but I really am a fan of the flat packaging for travel purposes. Perfect to slip in my bag for this upcoming speaking engagement!

I’ve been wearing this primer/foundation combo through these unpredictable end of summer/beginning of fall days, and it’s stood up to the test so far. Dust a little finishing powder on top and I’m good to go!
