Want of the Week: Clutches by Aya Morrison

by afrobella

From the second I saw it on the red carpet alongside Lauryn Hill on the red carpet at the Tanzania Education Trust’s New York Gala, I knew I had to have it.

Look at this AMAZING CLUTCH!

Thanks so much to my friend at Afrolistas and the City for hipping me to the designer! Aya Morrison is an amazing, Ghanian born swimwear and handbag designer who specializes in eye catching African prints.

She’s got two online stores — at Big Cartel she’s selling purses, belts, and swimwear. And on Etsy at the moment she’s got purses and swimwear.

My favorite purse is from her Radiant Bliss collection, and it’s $65 on Etsy. Love the style, and the price! Not bad for a truly noteworthy fashion statement that will garner lots of compliments wherever you go, right?

Check out IndieCoutureNYC.com for a great interview with Aya Morrison!

Le sigh – I need this Want of the Week ASAP! What do you think bellas?

I LOVE her bags! The bags on both her sites are so affordable. I think it’s so cute that her bags are displayed with a little bit of sexy on the side. 🙂 Thank you for sharing this!

I showed them to my daughter this morning and she’ll be buying one too. She showed me a picture of a purse in the style of a CHANEL 2.55 bag done up in African prints. Now we know Herr Karl has yet to do one, but who cares, I want one of those too and will be sporting it this Summer. Thanks,Afrobella…you rock! Cyber waves and High Fives!

I love these clutches. I tried to make some for myself last year and completely failed. I’m so happy that someone else can make them so fashionable.

For example, you can get a lot of content in search engines; all you need to do is type
in a word or phase on what you are writing on, and then
click on some link to get free information and ideas
to add to your product. The best aspects are, there
are more benefits, and a higher profit margin. Today internet marketing services for small business are
effectively performed through social networking sites.
