How I Rock It — Get Into PANDORA Jewelry’s Gorgeous Autumn Collection

by afrobella

When it comes to jewelry, I have particular tastes. I love anything that makes a statement. Anything that reveals and represents personality. I used to be really into big earrings but I’ve had a few incidents with jewelry that snagged on clothes or weighed too heavy on my ear lobes. And then I had a personal style revelation.

Sometimes, it’s about allowing the essence of you to shine without excessive embellishment. Sometimes, less truly can be more. I’ve grown into myself and come to embrace the beauty of just being who I am. I let it shine from within.

I was familiar with PANDORA jewelry, primarily as a purveyor of charm bracelets. Lately I’ve been giving them another look because of their #ArtOfYou campaign, which centers around self-expression through style and accessories. It’s all about affordable luxury and complementing your uniqueness.

How I Rock It

When they approached me to wear items from some of their collections and show off my personal style, I was honored and excited, but unsure. Would PANDORA have pieces I could seamlessly integrate into my look and my life? Would their jewelry fit my aesthetic? Would my readers like these looks and find affordable styles they would love and want for their own jewelry collections? Yes, yes, and I certainly hope so. I took to the streets of Chicago with my favorite photographer, Chuck Olu-Alabi, to capture fall looks with PANDORA’s Majestic Feathers and Signature/Timeless Elegance collections. Check it out!

Fun fact – in high school I used to have seven holes in my ears, and a nose piercing, freshman year of college. Now I have 5 holes in my ears but I don’t usually wear earrings in all of them. I’m pretty particular about the size and weight of earrings to wear together like this. And these Love and Guidance angel wing earrings are perfect.

I love the double dangle! I’m a fan of layering and stacking my jewelry. All of it. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings. There’s something so edgy yet feminine about it, especially with delicate pieces like these.

These necklaces are perfect for layering. The top one is the Majestic Feathers necklace, and I’m wearing it with the Tropical Palm pendant. Both subtle, pretty, and more substantial when rocked in a combination.

The challenge of their Signature and Timeless collection made me consider what those words mean. Timeless doesn’t have to mean stodgy or boring. Not at all. To me, timeless means forever on trend and undeniable in style, regardless of the season. And what is my signature? My signature is my hair and my smile, and you feel it in my confidence, my aura. It’s the way I know what compliments my curves, and the way I choose clothing that is above all things comfortable and chic.

Here I’m wearing PANDORA’s Signature Circle Pendant Necklace. Circles are considered to be good luck and a symbol of continuity and longevity in a few cultures, so I’ve always loved adorning myself and my home with anything circular and striking. This necklace fits the bill. And I love the simple, modern circular cut out of the earrings. These are the Forever PANDORA Studs.

These are the Hearts of PANDORA Bracelets and they’re so light and easy to stack that you may forget you’re even wearing them.

Thank you PANDORA for allowing me to feature your Autumn Collections and reconnect with the tenets of my personal style. This above all, to my own self be true. You can share your own PANDORA jewelry looks on social media using the hashtag #ArtOfYou, show off your style!
