Date Night Dresses — A City Chic Lookbook

What do you wear on a special date night? It truly depends on the location and theme, right? For the most part date nights to us mean comfy jeans and a sweater. But every now and then, we like to get fancy and step out for a night on the town. My fellow curvy ladies, if you’re looking for date night dresses that are of quality and come at a great price, I encourage you to check out City Chic — they’ve got a HUGE dress selection!

Here I’m wearing their black Sexy Slink Maxi Dress, which also comes in teal and ruby. I had a hard time choosing black, to be honest!

It comes with this little belt, which detaches — and WILL be used with other dresses, trust! Here I’m wearing it with booties and their leopard cardi (sold out, click here for alternative suggestions).

I love the fit of the dress — the name “sexy slink” is appropriate for sure, but the fabric isn’t too clingy. It feels so comfortable and easy and effortlessly chic — and THAT’s what makes me feel sexiest.

Here I jazzed it up with a sequined blazer, but City Chic has some other cute options — check out their drapey blazer or this sheer longline cardi for potential coverups. The dress doesn’t need anything more, but sometimes restaurants get chilly. Honestly, I LOVE this dress. First of all, pockets. Second of all, the fit is sexy but not over-revealing beyond my comfort level. Third, the fabric — all this needs is a light steam and this is ready to go. You can dress it up with heels and a faux fur or dress it down a bit with booties and a cute cardigan. I love a versatile piece I can get a lot of wear out of. I’ll be rocking this one for a while!

Great outfit, thank you. Do you use some sexy underwear even when you are not planning a night out with your partner?:)
I always enjoy it, and I feel more confident. Sometimes I even buy something very explicit from the site https://fetishtoybox.com/ – this is so much fun
