YouTube Taught Me — Some of The Best Black Beauty Vloggers

by afrobella

Big respect to the beauty and hair vloggers out there, shining a light on the range of our beautiful skintones and hair textures and body types on YouTube!

I have nothing but admiration for the creators who are doing their thing via video. It’s such a different kind of grind. I’m a firm believer in knowing your portion and your ministry, and making videos has never been mine. I’m a writer through and through and my introverted nature makes on-camera work a challenge for me. I truly admire my peers in the beauty, hair and style space who effortlessly do it all — video production is hard work and not everyone is good at it! This list is of the best and most popular black female vloggers. Partially compiled by YouTube, you’ll learn the impressive stats behind some of the platform’s biggest gurus, their most popular beauty or haircentric video, and what makes their audiences adore them. And if I missed any of your favorites, please let me know in the comments below!

Alissa Ashley (1.1M+ subscribers)

Alissa Ashley is a makeup blogger with fresh, original style and a down to earth attitude. Alyssa is a lifestyle, beauty, and natural hair blogger. Her goal is to inspire young people to be more independent and boost their confidence through her tutorials.
