Yay, Jennifer Hudson!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t care if they’re calling her her bolero a fashion don’t, watching her win made my night.

She looked gorgeous, was succinct and eloquent, and I’m super glad she was able to get in an edgewise thank you to Jennifer Holliday. I know if she had time she would have shouted out Florence Ballard, too.

That Academy orchestra doesn’t play when it comes to timing those Oscar speeches, huh?

I thought Forest Whitaker's speech was so beautiful. I've admired him as an actor for a long time, and I sincerely hope that this leads to bigger and better roles for him. He's done so much with supporting roles and guest starring parts on television. Can't wait to see him come out as the star that he is! And I am so, so excited for Jennifer Hudson. Looking forward to seeing what her next career move is, I hope she's offered roles that take her onward and upward.

I gave Jennifer a shout too! Her win definitely made up for that python bolero (but she recovered with the Roberto Cavalli at the end!) I just love that she will always be introduced now as "Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson." American Idol who?

Hey, Congrats to Jennifer Hudson on her win. I am glad that she won because I got nervous after Eddie didn't win. I do hope that she picks her roles wisely and start her own production company. I do wish her all of the best life has to offer. :D http://pumpsandgloss.wordpress.com
