I’m Hosting a Fashion Show at the Taste of Chicago on July 9! Come One, Come All

Chicago has been my home for the past 6 years and I absolutely love living here. I’m proud of my city. I love Chicago in the summertime and I encourage everyone to come and visit – downtown comes alive and everyone’s loving the sunshine, the lake, the food, live music…summertime Chicago is magical. One of the biggest events in the city is about to take place and I’m so absolutely honored to be PART of it this year.

My bellas. My fellas. This year, the Taste of Chicago will feature much more than food. Last year, they debuted the Fashion Focus Chicago Maker Market. This year it returns to Taste of Chicago, featuring 28 Chicago designers and boutiques selling art and current season apparel and accessories for men, women and children. AND we’re introducing the summer season runway shows in association with Latino Fashion Week and African Fashion Week Chicago featuring yours truly as the emcee!

 

 

 

This is a major thing for me for a few reasons. First of all, I’m HOME. I get to share local designers and jewelers, some of whom I know and admire tremendously. I’m working with African Fashion Week Chicago and featuring a few top local designers in our runway show and even more entrepreneurs in beauty and fashion.
