Look at that adorable seahorse! He is the star of the MAC To The Beach collection, but to be honest, I wouldn’t even wanna use him. He’s too beautiful!
I break down my feelings and top picks from the MAC To The Beach Collection in this, my first makeup review video. I hope you like it!
So yes, in order my top picks would be:
5- the bronzers — I particularly love Refined Golden, which is a finely spun golden with soft pearl finish.
4 – the blush – Hipness is an intense, but soft coral. It’s a bit pale but I’m getting a lot of wear out of it, especially with the bronzer over it.
3 – the eyeshadow – Sweet and Punchy is that acid yellow-green and I LOVE it!
2 – the eye kohls – Float on By Dark is that dark green turquoise, and Rosemary & Thyme is the olive gold. Love them both!
1 – The lip pencil/ lip glass combo – Temperature Rising is HOT for summer! But it seriously benefits from a gloss to layer over it. It’s super pretty with Easy Lounger, and — here’s a drugstore tip — the Milani 3D Glitzy Gloss that Clumps Of Mascara has been raving about looks amazing layered over this pencil and just about any other bright color!
Yes I realize that’s not exactly FIVE items, but those are the categories in which this collection shines brightest.

I bought the Bronze Body Oil! I can’t wait to rock it…Need to tan a little more first. The eyeshadows in that collection are pretty amazing. Great colors!

I loved the video! I am a makeup junkie and M.A.C is my all time favorite brand. Will definitely be stocking up on this collection. I loved how you did your eyes. Perhaps next time you could do a little demo about how you applied and blended the colors. Keep ’em coming.

My MAC Bronzer is on a shelf in my bathroom…now I know what to do with it.
I like the colored containers cuz they would be easier to find in your purse.
I wear green eye shadow often. It seems to be my default now.
I like the pattern on “Float on Eyes.” Similar effect as the seahorse highlighter without feeling bad about using it.

Great video, loved it as much as I loved the first one. You look like a pro. I agree that an instructional video will be great for those of us trying to revamp our makeup routine but not knowing how. First off, I love that you are doing make-up videos now! You are such an inspiration. Secondly, I am not a big fan of MAC products, I guess because I feel they are overhyped but this video is making me want to try out this collection pronto!
