It’s the Caress Girls’ Night Out Whipped Souffle Giveaway!
What’s more fun than a girls’ night out? I’m a girly girl to the core when it comes to that stuff! I love getting dolled up and hitting the hotspots with my fave ladies. That’s why I can’t WAIT for Fashion’s Night Out in NYC! (It’s like the ULTIMATE GNO!)
When I’m getting ready for a girls’ night out, the soundtrack is essential. Maybe I’ll go old school, with a little Mary Jane Girls or Vanity, or dip into the gems that I loved in my college days – Total, Nicole Wray, or Tweet. Or Timbaland and Magoo.
Was this not the JAM? Don’t get me STARTED!
There’s something about dancing, maybe having a cocktail, getting your makeup on, then heading out on the town with your besties that always makes for a magical evening. If you visit Dance With Caress, you can get girls’ night out tips from two time “Dancing with the Stars” champion Julianne Hough. One of them I can definitely agree with – your skin is your best accessory. That’s what Caress Whipped Souffles are all about. I love the blackberry cream scent SO much ! And YAY, my friends at Caress are offering Afrobella readers a truly awesome giveaway, just in time for my anniversary week!

My favorite getting ready song is “Seconds of Pleasure” by Van Hunt because even when I’m feeling a little down about body, I put that song on while I’m putting on my flowing tops or dresses, and I switch my hips to it. Then I begin to see my beautiful curves and I feel confident again!

Work That by Mary J. Blige it’s a good work out and dance song for the girls.

“GET ME BODIED” by Beyonce. Little explanation needed
My favorite GNO song is Regulate by Warren G. During my college days, my roommate and I would play this song as we prepped for the weekend party on campus. I think it was the story that he and Nate Dogg told (because something ALWAYS happened by the time we got back to our room!!) that got us all hyped up!
My favorite Girls Night Out song is ‘This is How We Do It” By Montell Jordan. It’s just a fun song, that you can dance and be silly to with your girls while getting ready.
Also, a runner up is ‘Shawty is a 10′ By The Dream. Makes you feel super cute while looking in the mirror putting make on
Thinking over all of the different songs I like made it really difficult to pick one. But I guess if I was having a girls night out, we would definately all have to turn on swag on, just like soulja boy so I had to pick his song! Just thinking of it makes me think about going out and having fun! That fast beat could make anyone want to smile and dance! So “turn my swag on” by soulja boi would have to be my girls night out pick!
MY favorite song to for a Girls Night Out Is “Shake your Tambourine” by Eve. Makes me shake mine every time.

Hey Mr. DJ – Zhane always gets me in the mood to go out & have fun! I fell in love with this song when Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks) sang it on “The Fresh Prince”! It’s just an easy groove song that I can get glam to for a night out!
My favorite “girls night out” song is “It Takes Two” by Rob Base. I’m an 80′s baby, and I still jam to this. This song takes me back to roller rink, and skating my behind off. When I want to get my self pumped up for a girls night out. I bump this really loud. It always gets me hyped.
I don’t have just one song that I listen to, but a few of my staples from my otherwise ever-changing playlist are:

Our GNO jam Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody?” – LOVE IT!
