Rest in Peace, Tamara Dobson. I had a big Cleopatra Jones poster in my room, and she definitely inspired me as well as legions of women to be fierce and sassy and natural. I read the sad news this morning, and my heart goes out to her family.

Afrobella, your site drives me wild!! So much beauty, just makes me feel happy. The layout is great, the pix are great, the posts are great. TBS is my fave.
Manicou instructed me to say ‘wham now?’ when I greet you.
Give you my hair drama’s next time.
And before I forget, Hail TAMARA DOBSON .. ‘fierce, sassy and natural’ is how I want to be remembered too.

I remember seeing “Cleopatra Jones,” seeing her go head to head with Shelley Winters, who was the bad guy! Sad news. Rest in peace, Tamara Dobson.

I recently read a post about her, all I can say is we lost a phenomenal woman.
