I just got off the phone with Mama Bella and my mother-in-law, so now I’d like to wish a happy mother’s day to all of the hardworking, beautiful mothers who read Afrobella. Lots of love to you all on your special day, and I hope you spend it in the company of family and the spirit of love and happiness.
I wanted to share a song that conveys everything I’d have to say to my mother, and I really think Sizzla really says it best: Thank you mama for the nine months you carried me through, all the pain and suffering. No-one knows the pressure you bear, just only you.
We might not always show it or say it, but you are appreciated. Big respect to mothers everywhere!
