Hey bellas, just a quick announcement before my post o’ the day. I closed comments on the Get Right for the Summer Guide — at 94 comments, I definitely have enough to choose from here! Over the week I will read all of them, and send the best three over to Elasta QP for answering! Expect an announcement by Friday.
Also, you may notice some new advertising links popping up in my posts. I’d like some reader feedback here — can you already see the links I’ve created myself, or do I now need to make my links more bold and noticeable, now that new advertising is in the house? Let me know! I’m not a techie, so I appreciate any insight you can give me as to how to make Afrobella better.

Hi Bella! Just some feedback: when your page loads, the advertisements in the right column at the bottom seem kind of helter-skelter, like jacks (sp? jax? you know, the game with the small rubber ball and the pieces you had to pick up before the ball landed…). Some are centered, some are not… Is this deliberate? I’m not a wordpress user, but maybe you could create a pane at the bottom of your page with your non-advertising stuff(copyscape, blogarithm, etc). Otherwise, Love the layout!!

I like the links the way they were. They are noticeable and went well with the color scheme of your pages. The blue tends to distract me from the story. Maybe that’s just me, though…..;0)

BrightTrotter – would another color besides blue help? Like green, perhaps? I just want to make sure the distinction between MY links and the new ads is clear as day.

Oh,poohy!! I missed out on the contest. I guess I will have to fit in where I can get in (on time) for the next contest giveaway. Maybe I will be the winner. LOVE YOUR SITE!! I read it everyday.
