Hey! Ho! It’s a makeup video!
I’m doing something a little new over on the ol’ YouTube channel – taking my 5 things lists over there. And for the first week I’m doing a top 5 dedicated to a makeup brand I often take for granted. I’m talking easy, breezy, beautiful Cover Girl.
I know anytime I need a cosmetic item that works – I can go to the drugstore and they’re there for me. But what are the absolute best items I’ve tried? I had to go in, and it turned out to be like an 11 minute video. So bear with me!
You can find all of those products at your local drugstore, at Target, Walmart, anywhere mass market beauty items are sold. So go forth and be beautiful!

I love the name of the Lash Blast Mascara, If only it was sold in the UK (unless it is by another name). I just make do with Maybelline Falsies and the Collasal.

Your hair and makeup look fierce. I’m planning on blogging about the Queen collection b/c it’s so hard to find. I live in a black neighborhood and I had to go to quite a few drug stores to find it. Either the store didn’t carry it or the shelves were bare. I will try the eye pencil because that blue looks gorgeous. Oh and I’ve tried the Queen’s Shiny Parfait lipstick (I’m darker-skinned so it looks nude on me with a hint of pink) and her concealer. My fave CoverGirl products are their eye shadows. Keep the videos coming!
I’m with you 100% on the Lash Blast mascara! As a matter of fact, I particularly like the Cover Girl Lash Blast Length since it makes your lashline look fuller while also extending each individual lash.

I am intrigued by the Maybelline Falsies but I hate the commercials for it! I never tried Lash Stiletto either =(
when it comes to Maybelline I tend to stick to Full and Soft which is still one of my FAVES!
In the yellow tube?? I ran out! Was gonna include that in the video too. I really haven’t found a Lash Blast I don’t like!
I didn’t even think about drugstore.com. I did eventually find a drug store me that keeps the Queen Collection stocked. Thanks for the info.

Second I love the Lash Blast mascara, it’s one of my go to mascaras. I have the one in the orange tube
I can’t express enough how much I love Covergirl products. I agree all of the Lash Blast mascara’s are great and priced right. I’ve used various mascara’s with various price points and I always come back to Covergirl. My method for getting my lashes to look better than falsies is to apply a layer of exact eyelights, a layer of lash exact(purple tube)and a layer of lash blast length(yellow tube). I know it sounds like alot but it’s not cakey or clumpy and I get asked often where I get my lashes done. Okay I’m off my soapbox now:)

I am in LOVE with Maybelline Falsies. Seriously? I am SOOO picky about mascara and I have tried everything, and this is the best. I have used the Lashe Stiletto and I used to rave about MAC’s mascaras, but this one is by far my favorite AND its a fraction of the price. Go out and try it, I doubt you will be dissapointed!

@Cocoa Fly, the Walgreens near me also has stopped carrying the Queen Collection. It’s very disheartening. I’m curious … how did you like the concealer?
