Event Recap: Cocktails and Couture

I missed the first hour of Cocktails and Couture because I was my typically slow self and catching a cab in NYC is a hellish experience for me. But I wasted no time in hugging, meeting, greeting, and celebrating my beauty and fashion blogger besties as soon as I got there!

Here I am with the man of the moment, Mr. Jason Backe AKA JasonHueman on Twitter – the master colorist of the Ted Gibson Salon – he also has a blog at Daily Makeover! Jason is so sweet, so nice, and I’m really hoping he comes to Chicago soon so we can hang out more!

And here we are with Nando Rodriguez of Nandoism, who was covering for A Girl’s Gotta Spa!

Later that evening I finally got to meet Shannon Nelson of A Girl’s Gotta Spa – we’ve known each other online FOREVER but this was our first meeting!

That’s my sweetheart DeeDee of The Sassy Peach! Love her to pieces! And the other young lady is a blogger – please leave a comment so I can add your name! She was so nice!

The adorable and glam MichelleJoni of Spa Week was working the lace dress! LOVED her wee top hat hair accessory!

My amiga for life Lianne Farbes and Mama Farbes, looking gorgeous and supporting her baby girl! TOO cute!

Here I am with Roselyn of Temptd - her necklace was GORGEOUS and she got it for a bargain on eBay. She is always so sweet and fun to hang out with, love her!

The one and only Sarah Conley of StyleIt looking glamazing in her Torrid outfit! I need that top in my lifespace!

Felicia of This That Beauty always looks glam AND she’s down to act the fool whenever appropriate. Love me some her!

Reese NYC and Kristin of Fashion Style Beauty giving me FIERCE!

And now, happy!

And here’s Lianne – the three of them worked SO hard to make this evening magical and everything was absolutely amazing.

This is the ultra glam, ever funky India Jewel Jackson of GlamBlush AKA DJ Belle De Jour – she rocked the house! India is always so fun to hang out with!

And at the end of ALL the fun, we got packed gift bags courtesy of Mwari Magazine, which included products from sponsors L’Oreal, HTC, Stila, Lierac, Visine, Caress, Venus, Olay, Sigma, Zoya, Covergirl, Proactiv, Degree, Fournier, Suave and more. Already I’m discovering new favorite items – look out for a big review of Cor Soap which might be the new beauty product love of my life!
