Every year around this time, Long Beach California becomes incandescent with star power. Celebrities of blinding wattage and executives of incredible significance converge with the world’s most acclaimed authors and gurus in their respective fields. The event is called The Women’s Conference, and its the pet project of Maria Shriver and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. This is the kind of event that a little beauty blogger from Trinidad might never have dreamed of attending. Except, I am learning – with hard work and earned respect, anything is possible. Because this year…I will be there, representing my fellow bloggers of the Glam Network and sharing the experience with you all!

Who’s at this year’s conference? Govenor Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver of course, Jane Fonda, Jillian Michaels, Donna Karan, Deepak Chopra, Paula Deen, Giada DiLaurentis…OPRAH, MARY J BLIGE and the First Lady of the United States, MICHELLE OBAMA. Please excuse me for yelling. I can’t hardly believe I will soon be in the presence of so many iconic figures!

Follow me on Twitter as I livetweet the experience, and hopefully I will be back with AMAZING photos later this week. And apologies for the lack of photos and links in this post, I wrote this on my cell phone while waiting to board my flight!

wish me luck!

Well welcome to our little town of Long Beach Bella! I hope you enjoy yourself, it is a great conference to attend full of lots of goodies, networking with established Women CEOs, and fun. Quick correction, the conference was started way before the Schwarzeneggar's co-opted it. But it's still fun nevertheless!
