The holidays are a time to shop and a time to celebrate, but they also should be a time to give. And a time to love and support the less fortunate. In the spirit of giving for the holidays and beyond, I’m going to be featuring a whole lotta charitable initiatives here on Afrobella. Tis the season!
We beauty bloggers are a fortunate bunch indeed. We may not all be rolling in the proverbial dough, but most of us are being inundated with products to review. So when my friend Karla of KarlaSugar came to me with a truly inspired concept for how we beauty bloggers could come together to raise funds for a noteworthy and needy charity, I jumped at the opportunity.
She created BeautyBloggers.org, a site that will offer auctions of highly desirable beauty items, with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders. And SO many brands and beauty bloggers are participating! This could be a great opportunity for you to score an item you’ve been coveting for a song, AND make a charitable donation to a truly worthwhile cause.
Click here to visit BeautyBloggers.org. Bid early and bid often! And please visit and support my fellow beauty friends who are contributing to this awesome initiative!
