2010 has been quite a year. Through the ups and downs, you’ve stuck by me and I am thankful for every one of you! To celebrate 4 years of Afrobella, my site being back up and running, happiness and health – I’m giving you 12 Days of Giveaways!
On the 11th day of giveaways, Afrobella gave to me…11 jars of Miss Jessie’s Super Sweetback Treatment!
Of all the products people search for on my blog, Miss Jessie’s remains among the most popular. I haven’t even done a major Miss Jessie’s review since 2007, but STILL people search for and comment on those vintage posts. And so much has changed for the brand since then! Back in 06 and 07, Miss Jessie’s was still that brand that seemed hard to find in a city near you. Now Miss Jessie’s is on endcaps at Target stores all over the place!
Yesterday I was honored and delighted to have Titi and Miko of Miss Jessie’s as my guests on Afrobella Radio. And the sisters are as sweet and down to earth and lovely as EVER. Much to my delight they happily answered any and every question I asked – from the history of the brand and what Miss Jessie was like, to more challenging questions about ingredients and the criticisms some naturals level against their brand. Titi and Miko answered it ALL with honesty and I really enjoyed talking with them.
