Heyo! Since my original logo design announcement, I’ve gotten some beautiful submissions. So far I’ve gotten five, and some really thoughtful questions.
Forgive me if my lack of graphic design experience made the rules unclear.
I am looking for a brand new logo to go at the top of the site. I’m visualizing a symbolic figure, something beautiful and womanly that represents black beauty. In my mind’s eye I see a round or square image that can fit well with my existing background, as well as look stunning on a plain white tee.
One ambitious entrant wants to design a whole new site for me, background design and all! I was surprised and flattered and excited at that prospect, and I’m definitely interested in seeing what people come up with. I do plan on completely doing a site redesign eventually. But this is a LOGO contest, and more than anything else, I’m looking for a beautiful symbolic representation of Afrobella that can be used on business cards and stationary to represent the site.
So once more — the prizes! The winner will get a $50 Sephora gift card, and a hamper of some of the amazing products that I’ve reviewed (and have yet to review). A fabulous write-up and interview with you, putting your website and creative vision in the spotlight. And my undying love and devotion.
