Bella, that was a great interview. I am glad you are being recognized for all of your hard work! I think a children’s book is an amazing idea.

    Hey Bella!
Congrats on the feature! I’m so glad to be a reader of the wonderfulness that is AFROBELLA! You have excellent goals and dreams for the future of Afrobella and I wish you nothing but the best and allllllllllllll the success in the world!

P.S. Have you talked to an attorney?

Oooooo, Bella! I loved the interview, I love reading this blog. You don’t have kids, and thus you probably are not intimately acquainted with the Disney Channel like I am (smiles) and probably won’t even “get it”, but I’m gonna say it anyway — to paraphrase London Tipton — Yaaay You!! And did you check Auragirl’s PS? I know that’s right, Auragirl. This blog is my big girl time, it’s hard for me to get any of that right now, but I get my dose of Afrobella every day. Props to you for keeping it clean and intelligent, and yet addressing all sorts of issues, while all the while holding down the 9-5 and taking care of your man. And a book would be so fab! You could write the one StAr’s been looking for.

I’m on that, Auragirl. Yup, it’s getting to that point where I need to take this more seriously and recognize its power. Thank you all for your kind words. I felt really strong about this feature! And I LOVE Clutch!!

And Lauren, I KNOW I owe you a phone call! I miss you buckets, friend of mine.

Great interview. The comment about Oprah was a good one. Not only would she look great natural, I think it would definitely encourage more black woman to go for it! BTW, does anyone know if Andre Walker is still Oprah’s hairstylist? I’m asking because I don’t understand why her hair lately always looks like a dry, matted weave. She should hire a natural hairstylist like Diane DaCosta or someone in that ilk.

Hey Afrobella! I just commented on your Clutch interview. Awesome coverage. As I mentioned there, Beuaty Chat Blog actually DOES jump from topic to topic, but it’s all good. You really got somethin’ with your blog, a certain following that is very impressive and endearing.

    Brilliant interview!

Much love to you Afrobella, dearheart!
