Seriously, I think I want to live there. And soon! I didn’t say much about my trip beforehand, but now I can. I was invited by for a whirlwind beauty blogger weekend to be a “Beauty Editor for a Day”. Thanks so much to the amazing India Jewel Jackson of GlamBlush and Susan Cernek of GlamChic for putting the whole thing together and taking such great care of us!

It was beyond fantastic to experience spring in the city, and to meet so many of my fellow beauty bloggers! Here we are standing in the Meatpacking District, just in front of fabu restaurant One Little West 12th, right next to the Gansevoort Hotel.

From right to left here, this is me, Lianne the Makeup Girl, Erin of Make Her Up, Allison of the Beauty Snob site, Christina of eBeautyDaily, the fabulous Tia Williams of Shake Your Beauty, and Teri of Beautiful Makeup Search. It was absolutely FABULOUS, a whirlwind of fun, laughter, and of course, beauty! I have so much more to write about this amazing trip in the weeks to come, but I just wanted to share this with you all before I return to regular life in the 305, complete with rainstorms and a long day at the office. Back to life, back to reality.

For all of you who wrote in with advice for places for me to shop for a fabulous wedding dress, thank you!! Time and money constraints led me to avoid the stores I’d planned to visit. Instead I bought a beautiful necklace, and worked my Kiyonna dress with panache and style. I’ll share those photos when I get back. For now, I gotta go to work. I missed you bellas!! Look for a fresh post tomorrow for sure.

ps — My God, I am such a shiny, shiny girl. And that isn’t a hideous neck wart, it’s my earring!

I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Big Apple!! Having grown up there I know how over stimulating it can be, the city is simply amazing (I however do not want to go back there to live!) and it is certainly full of culture, art and beauty!!

I live in NY, but if you move here the rent is so high your bella lifestyle would be regulated to the beauty supply store and the 99 cent store. Don't let Sex and the City fool ya!
