I have a confession to make. I haven’t logged into my MySpace account in like a year or more. Somewhere along the line it just got too messy for me — I tried to keep my real life friends and my Afrobella friends separate with two different accounts and I got so overwhelmed I just threw up my hands and walked away from both of them. So apologies if you’ve been trying to friend me on MySpace – I don’t even know what’s happening over there.

I joined Facebook at the behest of a really good friend from high school, and I fell in love! So many of my high school friends and family members are on there, it’s proven to be a great way to keep in touch with folks I haven’t seen in years. So I’ve been very guarded with adding new friends and Afrobella fans for that reason — I don’t want to lose track of the folks I actually know.

I want my cake, and I want to eat it too. I want to stay in touch with my Afrobella readers and still not be totally inundated with friend requests from like, PR companies. (Seriously).

So here’s what I did. I finally created an Afrobella Facebook group! AND I also have an Afrobella blog page. That way you can leave me a message, or start a discussion, or meet and greet everyone — and hopefully I won’t get overwhelmed and want to run away from Facebook.
