Congratulations. I am wishing you the best; but can I say something that will be perhaps a little controversial. Please understand it is my intent to help. Make sure in some type of way you give methodical acknowledgement of those who comment on blogs, AOL/blackvoices. Even if you have to set up autoresponders or hire someone part time to respond to people. I can't tell you how important that is. I see bloggers spending lots of time putting up pictures and blogging but not as much time responding to posters; or irregular response postings. Your readers are you lifeblood and its important that you come up with a way to acknowledge them. I like the contests and giveaways(that's excellent) but the acknowledgement about posts is even better in a world where many bloggers want eyeballs. I've been looking at the blogs where I visit and I have left many where I never get feedback of any kind(even though they may have been good blogs) or I the only feedback I get is from other disgruntled posters. If you have a visitor make sure to nurture and take care of them in some way through acknowledgement. Anyway, thanks for all that you do and I wish you success in your new venture.

Sandra, that isn't controversial, I agree with you. But I gotta add -- it isn't easy being a blogger. I'm a one woman show, so it's up to me to find the photos, write the material, and try to post something new 5 days a week. Admittedly after writing something, I move on quickly to the next thing. I read every comment, but finding the time to go back to old posts and respond is sometimes difficult. I'll try to do better. Thanks for commenting!

Thank you for taking time to comment. Your desire to become more than a one woman show is in the universe and it will be manifested. You watch and see.

You’re talking about actions. If the ACTIONS taken at the mosque violate the law, they should be punished. At this point, “conservatives” want the government to restrict speech. That’s wrong, and it will backfire.
