How cute is Mally Roncal? Seriously — she’s the living embodiment of adorable. Always impeccably turned out, always smiling, always encouraging regular women like you and me to believe in our own beauty. I think she’s the bees knees.
The celebrity makeup artist earned her stripes by beating the faces of Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Mariah, Mary J. Blige, and Iman. Now her Mally Beauty brand makes big bucks on QVC, because she brings her expert aesthetic and enthusiasm for everyday beauty to life with her products.
Recently she debuted her fragrance, Mally. If you’re looking for a unique, upbeat, fresh, youthful and sexy scent — you need to get a whiff of this. Citrusy, and scented with the Phillipines’ national flower the Sampaguita – Mally is delicious on your pulse points. I had a chance to review the scent and ask Mally some questions about it, via e mail.
I had to learn more about this flower that Mally used — Sampaguita, a tropical jasmine flower. The essence of the flower speaks directly to Mally’s culture and the concept of her whole cosmetics line. Mally passionately believes that beauty is an all-encompassing entity. “Beauty isn’t just about color cosmetics and covering up a blemish,” she says adding, “I wanted to create a scent that embodies who I am…something fresh and feminine that makes you feel joyful and invigorated.” A proud supporter of the Filipino community, Mally’s signature fragrance pays homage to her heritage using notes from the Sampaguita flower. The name translates in English to “I promise you,” and represents a symbol of fidelity, devotion, purity, strength and dedication.
Blooming throughout the year, the Samapaguita produces tiny white, dainty, star-shaped flowers that bloom at night and wilt in less than a day. It’s precious, yet fleeting. “Since I was young, I was taught to appreciate life in the same way. This fragrance reminds me of the philosophy, ‘Live every day as though it’s your last.’”

Lately I’ve been wearing Nutrogena healthy volume mascara and a dab of liquid bronzer on my lids for a little shimmer.
Add some gloss (I love Carol’s Daughter Candy Paint) and I’m good to go!
During the day I wear earthtone eyeshadows with a bit of brown eyeline and mascara

I wear glasses everyday and work in an office, so I try to do something funky but professional. I love eyemakeup because you can get away with color! I always use an eyeshadow base (primer or lip balm), mascara (usually 2, I like to mix/match the effects), and always eyeshadow. If I have the time I do some liner (just got my stila smudge pots and they ROCK) and blend colors, but if not, just a quick swipe of a color blended upward. Makes you looked dressed up even if you aren’t!
usually 3 eye colors, a light for the corners to pop, and then two on the lids for fun color
then mascara and maybe winged out liner or just on the bottom rim. I love playing with makeup, so much fun!
For my everyday look, I usually do a nude eye shadow around my lids, black liner and a couple coats of mascara. For a bit more fun, I like to line over the black liner with a purple or golden sparkly liner…
My everyday eye make up look starts with a good cleaning and merlot skin creme i put a little powder all over…then i line the under lids with liquid liner, i sweep a little glimmery powder in the corner and brush it over the whole lids..i always add a little green powder just on the corner for pazzas-pop…then add my el cheapo masacra from the beauty supply..i have great lashes so i want them long and black cleoparta style!
Don’t usually want to over do it. black eyeliner, mascara and i dont know maybe a.. shadowy type eye? I usually like black/silvery eye shadow. Sometimes I switch silver with whatever color im feeling

My everyday look is a brown/chocolate smokey eye or a really neutral (beige/gold) eye with a nude lip.
My make up routine is very basic, mascara, eyeliner. Every now and then eye shadow. I try to keep it minimal since I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes every 10 minutes.
Neutral eye shadows, liner, mascara for eyes, a light blush, concealer, foundation and finishing powder for face. Lipstick doesn’t stay long on my lips, so it’s not easy

Hey Afrobella.I start my eye look with a tinted moisturizer over my lids and face. Next I apply eyeliner to my lash and water lines. I like to experiment outside of the normal shade of black. So far my favorite has been blackened sapphire liner. Then I apply a little masacara for volume and I’m gone.
My everyday eye look includes, concealer under the eye for dark circles, mac primer on lids, a light cream color on the lids with a smokey brown in the crease extended just above and some black on he outcorners to give it the extra pop added with some eyeliner and mascara and a little brow grooming and bam im ready to go!

My everyday eye look is nude or smoky shadow and sometimes I fill in my brows with a pencil or powder and that’s it.
Thanks Patrice for introducing us yet again to another great beauty find! My profession is a bit conservative so for work/day, I usually keep it simple. I apply a very soft shimmery powder and then apply a soft black line on the upper eye-lid only. I finish off with a coat of eyelash primer and my favorite volumizing mascara. For evening, I go for the drama. I love to play with bold colors and my new favorite trick is to apply a bit of shimmer to the inner corner of my eye for an amazing pop! If I really want high definition, I’ll apply a few extra lashes as well.
My everyday makeup look consists of primer on eyelids and face, concealer under eyes & on blemishes, mineral foundation, blush, beige and brown shades of shadow, eyeliner, mascara, and a peachy pink gloss!
For an everyday eyelook I dont do much but put on some mascara, and eye liner. sometimes I put on gold eyeshadow. But most of the time my eye is bare.

My everyday eye makeup look is a neutral eye with alot of browns & golds with a slight cat eye. I like to use cream eyeliner first then go over it with liquid eyeliner. It helps keeps the creme eyeliner from smudging. I love to do smokey eyes with neutrals so that’s definitely an everyday makeup look for me.

I don’t typically wear eyemakeup; I have long lashes and with mascara on, they brush the inside of my glasses. Wash and a 15 spf ultra facial moisturizer from Kiehls. When I head out for evening I’ll go for the gusto.

MY EYES ARE BIG AND REALLY DEFINED, SO I DONT WEAR MUCH EYE MAKEUP, BUT I LOVE TO DEFINE MY EYEBROWS AND NUDE OUT MY EYES WITH FOUNDATION. AND BLACK EYESHADOW TENDS TO LOOK BETTER ON THE INNER CORNER OF MY LIDS THEN THEN THE OUTER CORNER; IT MAKES MY EYES LOOK DREAMY
I keep makeup very very basic. These products will give me basic with a nice little punch!
My everyday eye look is nice and clean. I use a lil’ concealer underneath my eyes to hide the dark circles, and I’m good to go. If I want a lil’ something extra, I use a lil’ mascara on my eyelashes.
I keep it simple.. concealer if I have dark circles or it looks like I didn’t get any sleep but my every day eye is just mascara and maybe a little shadow if I’m feeling extra
My everyday eye starts with a perfectly groomed brow. I use a powder, (more natural IMO) one shade lighter and blend out with a brush. Then concealer to clean it up and highlight. I swipe a neutral shade all over the lid. On top of that I use a gel black eyeliner and couple coats of mascara and I am out the door!

My eye makeup changes from day to day, but my everyday eye always starts with eyebrow pencil to fill in my light brows, black or brown eyeliner and mascara is always a must.
My everyday look is NO foundation, a minimal amount of mascara just to add extention, brown lipliner blended with a nude gloss, and a medium brown eyeshadow with gold at the crease. I try not to wear a full face during the day, I save the dramatics for night time.

I have eyelash extensions, so I don’t apply mascara. I put a swipe of stick foundation under my eyes to even out my dark circles, fill in my eyebrows with a dark brown eyeshadow powder, and apply black, brown, purple, or teal eyeliner.

My everyday looks gotta have a thick black liner on my water line and lower lash and a liquid eyeliner or a black shadow on upper lash line. Mascara comes when i need extra something
Almay eye color for brown eyes, lavendar eyeliner, light brown on lid, dark brown in the crease and a whisp of lavendar in each corner makes my brown eyes sparkle! Loads of mascara.. my lashes have grown from using my glacoma eyedrops.. talk about a silverlining And Mally’s voice is as cute as she is!

I use covergirl pressed powder; with a purple eyeshadow; and eyeliner and black mascara. I don’t use mush eyeshadow because I wear purple glasses but that is my look.
I don’t do the same look every day. I always use Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base, I tend to vary what colors I wear, but opt for bright colors in the crease. Most of the time I wear a gel eyeliner on the upper lash line and Urban Decay liners on my lower lash line. I use Aromaleigh Lash Primer and Benefit’s BadGal Lash mascara. Most of the time I try to never do the same look twice because I’m constantly doing new looks for my blog. I really enjoy wearing makeup and it makes me happy
