This Thursday on Afrobella Radio – Sam Fine and Lisa Price!

| July 14, 2010 | 12 Comments

I’ve been listening to Goapele lately, and feeling blessed.

When TWS The UnAgency approached me about starting Afrobella Radio, I thought it was a great idea, but still felt nervous, doubtful, scared, overwhelmed…fill in the blank. But I knew this was the right move, so I made it. And tomorrow I’m hosting my biggest episode yet!

Please tune in Thursday at 10 am CT/11 am EST for Afrobella Radio.

Tomorrow’s guests will be legendary makeup artist Sam Fine, and the incredible Lisa Price – founder of Carol’s Daughter. I’m so absolutely geeked for tomorrow morning!

I’ll be asking Sam all about his incredible career in makeup, his DVD, his future plans (which are all kinds of awesome!) and of course tips for aspiring makeup artists who admire his illustrious career.

And I’ll be talking to Lisa Price about the amazingness that is Carol’s Daughter, what it takes to start out making products in your kitchen and take them all the way to the shelves of Sephoras and department stores all around the world, and about the future of her phenomenal brand.

If you’ve got any questions you really really want me to ask Sam or Lisa, let me know in the comments! And make sure you log on to Afrobella Radio tomorrow – this is going to be an amazing show!

Congratulations! What a wonderful lineup and a wonderful opportunity for you, Afrobella, and for all of us!

Will this session be rebroadcasted or recorded for downloading? I’d love to listen, but later, when my schedule allows…

I’m really appreciating Afrobella radio. Because of your blog, I have Sam Fine’s DVD and have already benefitted from Today, although I went to the track this morning, I’m going to hula-hoop while listening! I’m going to be sad when classes start again and I can’t tune in to the live show! :o (

Thank you Afrobella. The show was great! and over time I hope you will be able to find a couple of unique business advertisers. You work so hard and it would be nice, if you aren’t already, getting some type of financial support for what you do. In the mean time I appreciate what you’re doing.

    Thanks again

We listened to the interview with Sam Fine and were blown away with how natural, entertaining and yet informative this discussion was. The quality of the questions and the natural flow of the discussion compelled one to take in every word spoken by both the interviewer and the interviewie. It was like Oprah doing one of her best interviews. You are good girl and something great will be happening soon.We can feel it.

Does anybody know if Lisa Price of Carol’s Daughter wears her completely natural or does she have a texturizer? I’m guessing she has a texturizer. I love her hair though.
