Fashion’s Night Out started out absolutely awesome.

I began the evening at Macy’s Herald Square location, interviewing the incredible Rachel Roy! (I promise to share, but the video I took can probably best be described as extreme close up. Like imagine just a shot of Rachel’s lips moving, LOL). There were moments of extreme awesomeness, but to be honest I think I did Fashion’s Night Out completely wrong. It was impossible to get to all the places I really wanted to go to. Next year I am downsizing and sticking to the Meatpacking district! Photos and video of the evening to come, along with a full recap of my Fashion’s Night Out adventures and misadventures later. For now, my outfit!!

Boots – Nine West from the amazing Vintage America collection

Jeggings – Project Jeans (purchased at TJ Maxx)

Top – Calvin Klein tank made with metal paillettes (so much cooler close up! – also from TJ Maxx)

Wrap – Calvin Klein (Best. Wrap. EVER! Also from…you guessed it…TJ Maxx! You should go! LOL)

Bag – Betsey Johnson Betseyville (purchased from

Jewelry – the Redefinition necklace by Peace Images.

Photos by The Sassy Peach.

Nine West generously provided my footwear – expect a post on our amazing blogger breakfast soon! And Peace Images was kind enough to provide STUNNING jewelry for me to wear for Fashion Week and literally everywhere I went, people gasped and asked me where I got my dope adornments. Click here to get you a “peace”!

I’d hoped to provide links to the specific Calvin Klein items I wore, but alas – it is nearly impossible to find links to Calvin Klein’s plus size items online. Which is a shame because CK makes AMAZING plus size clothes and I wish they would be proud enough of that to give the items their own moment of glory. I love their stuff and if you can’t find it online or at Macy’s, most definitely hit up the Maxx to get your fix!

Fashion Week is almost over for me! The pace has been brutal and I’ve had some lessons along the way. Expect many more posts this week – when I’m back in Sweet Home Chicago!

You look adorable! I want to steal, i mean borrow all of those things. You are spot on about TJ Maxx and Calvin Klein for plus sizes, i scored an amazing emerald dress from TJ maxx a few months ago that I need to find a place to wear it.

It was an easy outifit. I would have liked to see some splash of color in your ensemble. Is it too early in the season for all black?

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren't loading properly. I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I've tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same results.
