I’m cohosting the fun together with The Red Pump Project (@RedPumpProj), Blogging While Brown Conference (@BWBConference), and Swish Dreams (@SwishDreams), and admission is free all night, but we’re accepting suggested donations of $10. PLEASE bring gently-used to new winter gear you no longer want or need with you to donate. We’ll be collecting these things and donating to U Can Chicago.
AND to sweeten the deal, I’m cleaning out my beauty closet!!!!! I’ll be supplying the gently-used items I’ve reviewed on Afrobella.com on a big giveaway table for people who bring a cash donation. Donate some funds and you can choose your cosmetics!
There’ll be good music (provided by DJ Niena Drake), drinks, conversations, games and fun from 6 to 9. I hope to see you on Friday night!!

What a wonderful way to give back! Especially since your Town will have more cold weather to live through for some months to come.
I can’t believe that SOMEHOW I missed this. I just booked a shoot for tomorrow night… Drat. I guess that’s a good problem to have but man I would like to have gone.
